Terms of service
These terms govern the mangolab console, the agents we run for a business, and the embeddable web chat widget. They are between Mango Yazılım Teknolojileri Ltd. Şti. ("mangolab", "we") and the business that holds the account ("you").
What the service is
mangolab is a platform for building and running AI agents that talk to your customers on the channels you connect — WhatsApp, Instagram, email, Slack, or a web chat widget on your own site — and a console where your team watches those conversations, takes one over, and configures what the agent may do on its own.
An agent answers from what you give it: the instructions in its template, facts approved from your website, and the tools you connect. It is software, not an employee, and this matters in two directions — what it may do is bounded by the autonomy level you set, and what it says is generated text, which you should treat as such.
Your account and your team
- An account belongs to a business. You invite your own team and set each member's role; what a role may do is described in the console.
- You are responsible for what your team does with the account, including sign-in credentials and API keys. Keys are shown once, at creation — we store only a hash and cannot show them again.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account or key has been compromised, and we will help you rotate it.
What you may not do
- Use an agent to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to message people who have not opted in on the channel they are messaged on.
- Present an agent as a human being. The agent may have a name; it may not claim to be a person when asked.
- Configure an agent to give medical, legal or financial advice as though it were a licensed professional, or to make promises on your behalf that you do not intend to keep.
- Use the service to handle special categories of personal data (health, biometrics, and the rest of KVKK Art. 6 / GDPR Art. 9) unless we have agreed to it in writing.
- Attempt to extract another customer's data, probe the platform for vulnerabilities without our written consent, or resell access without an agreement.
Channels you connect belong to you
WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Pages, Gmail, Slack and CRM connections are your accounts. You authorise us to act on them for the purpose of running your agents, and you can withdraw that authorisation at any time — from the console, or from the provider's own settings.
Meta's terms apply on top of ours
WhatsApp and Instagram messaging runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform and the Messenger Platform. Your use of those channels is also subject to Meta's own terms and policies, including its Business Messaging policies and the 24-hour customer service window. We build to those rules; we cannot waive them for you.
Conversation text reaches a model provider
To generate a reply, the conversation is sent to a large language model provider (currently OpenAI) for that purpose only. It is not used to train models for anyone else.
Removing our app stops the channel
If you remove our app's permission at the provider, that channel stops working — messages stop arriving and stop being sent. We record the revocation; we do not treat it as a reason to keep acting.
Your data, and who decides about it
For everything your customers say to your agent, you are the data controller and we are your processor — we handle it on your instruction. What we collect and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
- You may export or delete. Ask us and we return or delete a conversation, a customer's data, or the whole account, except records we must keep by law.
- Requests from your customers — access, correction, deletion — are yours to decide. If one reaches us first, we pass it to you and act on your instruction. Anyone can also start a request directly: deleting your data.
- We do not sell data, and we do not use one customer's conversations to improve another customer's agent.
What we do not promise
Two honest limits, stated plainly rather than buried:
- An agent's output is generated text. It can be wrong. Where being wrong would be expensive, use the autonomy controls: require approval before an action, keep a human in the loop, and read the test screen's verdicts before going live.
- The service depends on platforms we do not run. If Meta rate-limits a number, a model provider has an outage, or a channel token is revoked, messages can be delayed or fail. We report what we measure and do not claim delivery we cannot see.
The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those the law does not let us exclude. To the extent the law permits, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss.
Fees
Fees, the plan you are on, and what the usage meter counts are as agreed with you in writing; the console shows the meter. Channel costs charged by a provider — Meta's per-conversation pricing, for instance — are yours and are billed by that provider, not by us.
Term and ending it
- Either side may end the agreement with 30 days' written notice, unless we agreed otherwise.
- We may suspend an account immediately if it is being used in a way that breaks these terms or endangers the platform or its other customers. We tell you why.
- When the relationship ends, we delete or return your data at your instruction. Ask before you leave if you want an export.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights or how we handle data we already hold, we tell you directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
Governing law
Turkish law governs, and the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a consumer protection that the law grants and does not allow to be waived.
